(*affiliate link) Hey Guys! This time I’m sharing my thoughts on the Sigma Beauty Ambiance Eyeshadow palette*! I got it during the 15% off sales from Macy’s*. The Sigma Beauty website* also has sales (20-30% off) from time to time, but I don’t usually order enough amount for their free shipping.
Although the color story of this Sigma Beauty Ambiance Eyeshadow palette may look mundane and everyone of us probably already have all have these shades in our collection, this color story attracted me! I’m a sucker for these type of brown and golden bronze eyeshadows! I feel like I can use these colors everyday! After all, it isn’t too bad if you can find a good eyeshadow formula for everyone use!

About the Sigma Beauty Ambiance Eyeshadow palette
This Sigma Beauty Ambiance Eyeshadow palette* retails for $49 USD, containing 14 shades, and a total of 0.9 oz or 25.5 g of products. This palette is made in China.
This Ambiance palette belongs to the Sigma Clean Beauty product program, meaning the shades are formulated without a bunch of potentially harmful ingredients to human health. Analogous to the Sephora Clean Beauty products.
There is a dual ended eyeshadow blush enclosed inside this Ambiance eyeshadow palette. I have not used this brush, but it seems to be a good quality brush. The fluffier side is E38 “Diffused Crease” and the other side is the E56 “Medium Sweeper”.
There are 7 matte shades, 4 metallics and 3 shimmers in this palette.
Ingredients and formulation of the Sigma Beauty Ambiance Eyeshadow palette
As I mentioned earlier, this Sigma Beauty Ambiance Eyeshadow palette* is made of clean ingredients. The full list of ingredients can be found in the Sigma Beauty website*. I’m really glad more and more makeup companies are more willing to make “clean” makeup products, while still keeping their qualities as eyeshadows!
This Ambiance palette does not contain any talc. It’s also vegan, lactose-free and gluten-free. There is also no detectable fragrance in it.
The formulation of Sigma Beauty’s eyeshadow is actually amazing! After using the Sigma Beauty Hazy eyeshadow palette* (reviewed here), I started to understand why they are gaining more and more attentions from makeup lovers!
All the different eyeshadow formulas in this palette are very smooth and soft. None of them feel like a dud. I have no complain about their formulation at all! (I may have something minor to say about their choice of shades though!)
I am especially happy with their shimmer formula, which I think is also found in the On-The-Go Hazy eyeshadow palette* as well. The shades Marigold, Firefly and Candlelight has some micro sparkles in it and is very reflective on the eye lid! Although they may be mostly used as toppers to add a finishing touch to the look.
Swatches for the Sigma Beauty Ambiance Eyeshadow palette
Yes, the color story of this Sigma Beauty Ambiance Eyeshadow palette* is not unique, but they are easily one of the best eyeshadow formula in this color story in my collection. I’d say the quality of the shadows are really nice.
There is no skipping, dragging on skin, or patchiness from these shades. All are creamy, soft and pigmented (except Marigold, which is one of my favorite in this palette). I don’t have much fallout from these shades either.
Comparing Sigma Beauty Ambiance Eyeshadow palette to Patrick Ta Major Dimension Eyeshadow palette
Since my other recent purchase, the Patrick Ta Major Dimension Eyeshadow palette* (reviewed here), also has a similar color story, I want to share a comparison between the two.
Putting them side-by-side, they seems to appear less similar than I thought. Patrick Ta’s Major Dimension palette is more neutral than Sigma Ambiance palette*, which leans more towards golden brown.
I think the Patrick Ta palette has a more drastic gradation of colors than the Ambiance palette, even though the latter has more shades in it.
I wish the Ambiance palette has a lighter shimmer and a darker brown or black. In this case, the Patrick Ta palette check both boxes for me. The white shimmer shade in Major Dimension adds quite a lot more points to the palette!
For the qualities of the eyeshadows themselves, I think the shadows in the Major Dimension palette has a more coarse texture. It also has more fallout during and after I made the look. Compared with the Ambiance palette that I don’t see any fallout.
One last thing about these two palettes is that, I found out that the Sigma Beauty Ambiance eyeshadow palette actually does not fade throughout the day! On the contrary, in the Major Dimension eyeshadow palette, without using the cream base, the eye look faded quite a lot imo. Adding the cream base does prolong the longevity of the look by helping the powder to stick better.
3 eye looks created using the Sigma Beauty Ambiance Eyeshadow palette
I want to say that all the 3 looks I created are not having a ton of difference. In a cloudy day, probably not many people will notice they are different on the lid. But I like the color story and really enjoyed using this palette!
So here is the first look! I love this bronzy golden brown eye look. It almost feels like a sunset! I like the great quality of this palette helps a lot in making this look effortless! Besides, I want to mention again that this look actually lasted and not fading much.
This second look basically is similar but a hint deeper. It is more suitable for a nighttime look for me. However, I still like this look a lot and will want to wear it again.
I noticed the white balance is a bit off when I took the photo for this third look. So, it may look more pink than it actually was. So this third look was intended to be more wearable to workplace for me. It is more less intense or obvious. The beautiful pinky coral shade (Marigold) added the right about of sparkle to finish the look.
Final Thoughts
Overall, this Sigma Beauty Ambiance Eyeshadow palette is very beautiful. I love the color story, quality and the looks created using this palette! The only thing is that, it may be very similar to what you already own.
I will say that if you like this color story and don’t mind getting more similar shades than you already have, I think this Sigma Beauty Ambiance eyeshadow palette is a great addition. With the clean formula, the fantastic quality and staying powder of this shades, you won’t disappoint! If you’re new to makeup, I think this palette can be a very good staple in your collection! All the shades are very useable!
