(Contains affiliate links) Hey Glamminers! This post reviews the Charlotte Tilbury Eyes To Mesmerize Cream Eyeshadows in Sunlit Glow, Exagger-Eyes, Golden Eclipse and Chocolate Bronze. I purchased these cream eyeshadow pots from Charlotte Tilbury a while ago and figured it’s a good time to review these products now that I have used them for some time!

Charlotte Tilbury frequently have new shades from existing product lines coming out, this time, the most recent addition to these Eyes to Mesmerize cream eyeshadow pots are Sunlit Glow, Exagger-Eyes and Golden Eclipse. I also got one of the original shades in the line- Chocolate Bronze. I have previously used Oyster Pearl (former known as Marie Antoinette). Speaking the names, interestingly Charlotte sometimes likes to give new names to existing products. In these Eyes To Mesmerize Cream Eyeshadows, a good portion of the products were given new names. I’m not sure why they do that, but sometimes it can be quite confusing as you may not know whether it’s a new shades or not.

Anyway, regarding the product itself, I like the packaging of these cream eyeshadows. They feel weighty and lux when you hold them. The frosted glass jars makes the products feel expensive (which they are)!

About the Charlotte Tilbury Eyes To Mesmerize Cream Eyeshadows

These Charlotte Tilbury Eyes To Mesmerize Cream Eyeshadows retails currently for $35 USD a piece. The price of these have definitely gone up from the time this product line was initially launched.

Each eyeshadow pot contains 0.24 oz (or 7 ml) of products. There are 12 shades in range, some of them has been discontinued.

The product is very creamy and mousse-like. Charlotte Tilbury describes the products as ‘One-Minute No-Mirror Makeup’, and ‘Soft-focus illuminating pigments smooth over lines & imperfections for a visibly more youthful finish’. They are also claimed as long-lasting.

Here are the 4 shades I’m reviewing this time:

Ingredients and formulation of the Charlotte Tilbury Eyes To Mesmerize Cream Eyeshadows in Sunlit Glow, Exagger-Eyes, Golden Eclipse and Chocolate Bronze

The full list of ingredients of these Charlotte Tilbury Eyes To Mesmerize Cream Eyeshadows can be found here. They are talc-free, parabens-free, vegan, gluten-free and cruelty-free. There is also no detectable fragrance.

Since the first ingredient of these shadows is cyclopentasiloxane, which is a silicon-based chemical, and they also contain dimethicone, these products have decent amount of smoothing effects on the skin. However, if you’re allergic to any of these agents, you should try to avoid this line of products.

For the formulation of these Eyes To Mesmerize Cream Eyeshadows, I like how light-weight they feel on the eye lid. As advertised they are also very creamy and easily spread on the skin. The resulting application is smooth and even, which I enjoy.

However, unlike what they advertised, I don’t think these cream eyeshadows are long-lasting. In my hands, they fade rather quickly with time. Certain shades hold a little bit better than the others. For reference, I have dry skin and my eyelids are not oily at all.

Overall, I do think these eyeshadows are very convenient and easy to use. I use them very often on the weekdays, when I don’t have a lot of time before getting out the door in the morning. I’m looking forward to more new shades from this line!

The arm swatches are true to the shades you can see from the eyeshadow pots. I like how easy and even the products are when they are blended. They appear very smooth and set down relatively quickly.

However, they are not transfer-proof. If you touch your eyelid throughout the day, products will come out. That’s why they’re not exactly long-lasting.

Concerning the individual shades, Golden Eclipse is my favorite among these four. Closely followed by Exagger-Eyes.

I was actually expecting to Chocolate Bronze much more because it’s a classic brown shade that can really be a ‘one and done’ for me, however, the quality of Chocolate Bronze is disappointing to me. You can also see from eye swatches below, for some reason, Chocolate Bronze just makes my lids look muddy. It maybe due to the drying out of the shade (I bought it new though!), hence uneven blending on the eyelid.

For the shade Sunlit Glow, it’s pretty, but I just think it’s not the kind of shades that I will go for usually.

I think Sunlit Glow performs quite well on the eyelid. I have not primed my lid with anything for all of these swatches.

Sunlit Glow is a multi-dimensional golden pink shade that reflects a slightly amount of gold and pink shades with the angle you turned.

Exagger-Eyes is a very beautiful and wearable nudy gold shade with very fine shimmer particles. One thing I found with Exagger-Eyes is that, at the end of the day after the color is mostly gone, some glittery particles remain on the lid. It’s not a big issue for me, but it’s different from other shades I compared here, which don’t contain obvious glitter or shimmery particles.

As I mentioned earlier, Golden Eclipse is my favorite shade! It is bright on my eyelid. It gives a golden hour sheen on my eyelid throughout the day. I really love how this turns out on my eyelids!

Chocolate Bronze almost appears as a matte shade on my lid after blending. I would like to see more sheen on my lid with this shade, like it looks from the pot.

The shade doesn’t blend as well as other shades on me. I used my finger to put these cream shadows on, it may come out different if I use a eyeshadow brush instead. However the purpose of getting these cream shadows for me is to get a simple eye look done in a short time, so it defeats the purpose if I need to invest more time in making the eyeshadow works.

Final Thoughts

Overall, I like how easy to use these Charlotte Tilbury Eyes To Mesmerize Cream Eyeshadows are! There a couple shades that I love and think it’s worthwhile for the price. I will recommend it to you if you’re also looking for a quick and easy type of eyeshadow, plus there is a shade that you like in the product line.

Some shades are better than the other in terms of quality. Among the 4 shades I got here (Sunlit Glow, Exagger-Eyes, Golden Eclipse and Chocolate Bronze), I think the first 3 shades are great for my purpose with good quality.

If you like the idea of these Charlotte Tilbury Eyes To Mesmerize Cream Eyeshadows but are unsure about the price tag, I would recommend you check out these more affordable, but still great alternatives:
