(Contains affiliate links) During the recent Colourpop sale, I purchased 3 products that I am very happy with! They are the Colourpop Furriends Forever Super Shock Shadow Duo, the Super Shock Shadow DGAF and the Like a Charm Creme Gel Liner Vault!
I don’t own much Colourpop products but when I saw the Furriends Forever Super Shock Shadow Duo, I know I have to support the cause and make a purchase!

Colourpop Furriends Forever: About
This Colourpop Furriends Forever Super Shock Shadow Duo retails for $10 USD. Each of them contains 2.1 g or 0.074 oz of product. They are said to be brand new shades from Colourpop.
This is their 6th year of collaboration with the Best Friends Animal Society, which is a non-profit no-kill sanctuary for animals. Visit their website if you’re interested in helping animals!
According to Colourpop, all the net profits made from this Furriends Forever Duo will be donated to the Best Friends Animal Society.
Colourpop Furriends Forever: Ingredients and formulation
The Colourpop Furriends Forever Duo Super Shock Shadows are very similar to the regular Super Shock Shadow from them. They do not contain talc, cruelty free and vegan. There is also no detectable fragrance.
These duo are softer and mushier than the regular Super Shock Shadows. They also seem to be more sparkly and very pigmented as well.
The shadows almost feel oily to the touch. This maybe due to the ingredients soybean oil and mango seed butter, which are also found in their other Super Shock Shadows. However, there are less ingredients used in making these duo compared with their regular line.
Colourpop Furriends Forever: Swatches
The two shades in this duo swatched exactly what they look like in the pans. The shades are very smooth and have one-swipe pigmentation, non-patchy. The color payoff is the best when you apply them with your finger.
Good Boy! is described as ‘soft warm ivory shadow with pink, silver, and gold pinpoints’ and Feline Good is described as ‘warm bronze shadow with multidimensional pinpoints’.
I do not notice any color shift of this duo in different angles, nor there is any noticeable different in the sparkles under natural lighting. They are very pretty as is.
Colourpop Super Shock Shadow DGAF: About and formulation
Like other Super Shock Shadows from Colourpop, DGAF retails for $6 USD with 2.1 g or 0.074 oz of product.
DGAF is described as a multidimensional golden brown. There is a pretty obvious gold shift to the brown base of the shadow. The shadow is soft and very smooth, pigmented and not crease.
One thing I noticed is that Colourpop’s Super Shock Shadows will definitely dry up if you de-pot them and just put them in a magnetic eye shadow palette (I put mine in the Tarteist Pro magnetic palette, which is reviewed here). I did that to all my Super Shock Shadows couple months ago and they are pretty much dry and grainy now- as you can see in the swatches coming up.
Colourpop Super Shock Shadow DGAF: Swatches and comparisons
As the 3 Super Shock Shadows (Amaze, Sequin and Prickly Pear) I de-potted have essentially dried up already, they appear less pigmented than they actually were when they were still in the pot.
Shade-wise, Feline Good and DGAF are not quite the same as each other. DGAF has a more reddish brown color as the base.
Feline Good and Amaze are more similar to each other comparatively, while Prickly Pear is more of a cool tone version of Feline Good and Amaze.
In the pan, DGAF looks a lot like Sequin, I didn’t notice how red tone Sequin is until I swatched it next to DGAF.
Colourpop Like a Charm Creme Gel Liner Vault: About
The final product I got is the Colourpop Like a Charm Creme Gel Liner Vault. It is a bundle with their 12 different existing creme gel liners. I got this mainly because most of the shades I wanted had already been sold out by the time I made my order.
It is a pretty good deal indeed as you are getting 12 x 0.2 g (or 12 x 0.01 oz) of creamy gel eyeliners for $40 USD (instead of $6 USD for each sold individually).
I thought I won’t use or like all of the shades in this vault as some of them are very light for my liking. However, it turned out I like them all! They are pigmented as an eyeliner. They show up pretty well even for those light colors.
Colourpop Like a Charm Creme Gel Liner Vault: Ingredients and formulation
These creme gel liners have dimethicone as the main ingredient, which is different from many eyeliners in the market. There is no detectable fragrance and all of them are cruelty free and vegan.
For the formulation of these creme gel liners, they are very soft and so quite easy to break. I recommend do not twist up more than 1 mm when you’re using them. I already had 3-4 of them broken off when I swatched them!
In terms of the quality of these gel liners, I was indeed a bit disappointed as I think there was not much quality control for these products. As the actual liners for some of the shades were bent or twisted up (which cannot go back down) already when I first opened them. I understand the price is pretty good for what I got, but I just wish the quality was more uniform.
Colourpop Like a Charm Creme Gel Liner Vault: Swatches
The swatches are very nice. All the liners are very pigmented, soft and smooth. I am pleasantly surprised by how these creme gel liners perform. There was no skipping at all.
I also like that there are different finishes in this creme gel liner vault. Most of them are matte and there are couple of pretty metallics and one sparkly black (second last in the swatches). I will be always reaching for them!
I also tried to smear them with my finger after letting them to stay on my skin for more than 10 minutes. The colors did not come off significantly even with continuous rubbing!
I have also made a video for the swatches of all these products under different angles in natural lighting:
2 eye looks created using the Colourpop Furriends Forever, DGAF and Like a Charm Creme Gel Liner Vault
The first eye look was created using both shades in the Colourpop Furriends Forever duo. I then use 3 different creme gel liners on my upper lash line.
Feline good (the bronze shade) looks very sparkly and high shine on the lid. I mostly just used my finger and natural hair eye brushes when using these Super Shock Shadows.
The gel liners also glided on smoothly and effortlessly. I was worrying that the metallic liners would not show up on the shadows. However, they performed as well as the matte ones.
Although DGAF swatched like more like a brown than red, it appears brick red leaning towards red a lot on my lid. I can also see the gold reflect from the shade. It is very pretty even used as a one-and-done shade on the lid.
For the creme gel liner, I used the black shade with silver glitter. The glitter stayed and showed on the liner well and stay put. It also glided smoothly. These creme gel liners are great.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I really liked and will recommend all these Colourpop products that I got. At a fraction of what you are paying for the luxury brands in Sephora, these Colourpop products perform exceptionally well!
For the Furriends Forever Super Shock Shadow Duo and the single DGAF, they are all well-worth the price. The color payoff, staying power and choice of shades are all up my alley! They are steals especially if you can grab them during the sale.
For the Like a Charm Creme Gel Liner Vault, other than leaking quality control for the packaging, these gel liners themselves are very nice. I totally cannot see why I would spend $26 USD to get a Marc Jacob eyeliner when these Colourpop gel liners seem to carry the same quality and smoothness!
I will rate the Colourpop Furriends Forever and DGAF Super Shock Shadows as:
- Texture: 10/10
- Color payoff: 10/10
- Longevity on eye lid: 10/10
- Quality consistency among shades: 9/10
