(* affiliate link) Hey Guys, I’m reviewing the Artist Couture Supreme Bronze Eyeshadow & Pressed Pigment Palette* today! This is my first makeup product from Artist Couture. Their first palette of the series, Supreme Nudes and Pressed Pigment Eyeshadow Palette*, is still a popular staple for many.

About the Artist Couture Supreme Bronze Eyeshadow & Pressed Pigment Palette
This Artist Couture Supreme Bronze Eyeshadow & Pressed Pigment Palette* retails for $42 USD, containing 0.6 oz or 16.8 g of product.
This palette has 6 mattes (Mirage, Taupeless, Shady, Sunkissed, Toasty, Baked), 3 metallics (Sand, Gilded, Tantalize) and 3 sparkly pearl (Glisten, H.B.I.C., Soleil) shades. The shadows are cruelty-free, fragrance-free, vegan, paraben-, silicone-, and sulfate-free.
The packaging of this Artist Couture Supreme Bronze palette is very sleek and slim. The palette has a decent weight to it. The closure is magnetic. However, I found it a little bit hard to open as the magnetic is quite strong and the edges you can hold to open the palette are narrow.
Ingredients and formulation of the Artist Couture Supreme Bronze Eyeshadow & Pressed Pigment Palette
The photo for the ingredients maybe a little hard to read.. essentially, mica is the first ingredient for most of the shades and half of the shades in this palette contain talc as the first few ingredients as well. However, compared with Artist Couture’s last popular palette, Supreme Nudes and Pressed Pigment Eyeshadow Palette*, which contains talc in each shade, this Supreme Bronze palette is a big leap away from talc!
For the eyeshadow formulation, I found that the mattes are on the harder side, although they are still decently pigmented, it requires a little bit more blending and building up for them to show up well. But this also allows you more control over the intensity of the look.
For the pearl finish shadows, they are soft, smooth and pigmented. I don’t have any bad things to say about this formula in particular.
As for the metallics, they are more like the mattes– harder pressed into the pan than I expected. They are hence less pigmented and not as sparkly as the pearl shades. They are somewhat like the harder shimmer shades sometimes found in Nars’ eyeshadow palettes. For shimmers, I don’t prefer the harder formula as they are not easy to be picked up by a brush, sometimes even with fingers.
Swatches for the Artist Couture Supreme Bronze Eyeshadow & Pressed Pigment Palette
Swatches from this Artist Couture Supreme Bronze Eyeshadow & Pressed Pigment Palette is really beautiful. All the shades look very smooth and pigmented! The tangerine shade (Sunkissed) is the accent of this palette imo. The colors are very vibrant and energetic. The gold/bronze makes this palette more versatile for daily use!
Some of the mattes, as I mentioned above, are not one-swipe pigmentation. Many of the time I have to build them up, but it’s not an issue when you can build them up on the lid.
Comparing Artist Couture Supreme Bronze Eyeshadow & Pressed Pigment Palette to Sigma Beauty Ambiance Eyeshadow palette
I’ve been buying a lot of brown/bronze/golden tone eye shadow palettes lately! From the Patrick Ta Major Dimension Eyeshadow palette* (reviewed here), the Sigma Beauty Ambiance Eyeshadow Palette* (reviewed here) to now this Artist Couture Supreme Bronze Eyeshadow & Pressed Pigment Palette* (more is coming…)! No doubt that some of the eye looks created using these different palettes can look very much the same on the lid.
Essentially, which eyeshadow palette is better mostly depends on their wear time, ease of use and the quality itself.
Note that the swatch of the Ambiance eyeshadow palette in this photo (left side of my arm) was done according to how similar I thought the shades were compared to Supreme Bronze, it does not correspond to the sequence in the palette.
Swatching these two palette together, it looks like they are indeed quite different. Supreme Bronze is definitely more bold. The shades in the Ambiance palette are easier to use and suitable for everyday wear to me.
I still like the Sigma Beauty Ambiance palette more as the shadows there are very soft and smooth, I simply feels I like their formula more than the one in Supreme Bronze.
As for wear time, I can rank Ambiance as the most long lasting without obvious fading throughout the whole day, while Patrick Ta’s Major Dimension Eyeshadow palette* has the shortest wear time (when not using the cream base) among these 3 palettes, Supreme Bronze is in the middle. It does fade some amount by the end of the day. Indeed the Sigma Ambiance palette is one of a few palettes in my collection that last a full day for me. The intensity of my eye look is virtually the same as I put it on in the morning! It is amazing!
3 eye looks created using the Artist Couture Supreme Bronze Eyeshadow & Pressed Pigment Palette
This first look is a beautiful bronzy with gold accent eye look! It is somewhat similar to the look I created with the Sigma Ambiance palette. The mattes are a bit more sheer than I’d like. It looks some time for me to build up the intensity.
This second look reminds me of sunset! It’s suitable for evening outing. You may intensify the tangerine shade (Sunkissed) and increase the contrast with the dark shade (Shady) at the outer corner. As in the first look, it took me some effort to build up the mattes to what you see in the picture.
The first row of this palette is my favorite. As a cool tone lover, I adore the taupe and the dirty silvery shades (Taupeless and Glisten respectively)! I like this look the most.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I think this Artist Couture Supreme Bronze Eyeshadow & Pressed Pigment Palette* is a nice one. You would be able to create multiple distinct eye looks using this palette. As a high-end eyeshadow brand/palette, I think its price is proportionate to the quality. I like the 3 eye looks created using this palette. However, I don’t think I’ll be able to use every shade in a regular basis. it is not a palette that I would run out to buy if it got lost.
I will rate this Artist Couture Supreme Bronze Eyeshadow & Pressed Pigment Palette* as:
- Texture: 8.5/10
- Color payoff: 7/10
- Longevity on eyelid: 8/10
- Quality consistency among shades: 7/10
- Color scheme uniqueness: 7/10
- Affordability: 7/10
