Tbh I usually don’t find Charlotte Tilbury’s eyeshadow specially well-made nor the color stories very unique (I do think they are very nice as a luxury makeup brand though!). But there is something about them, when everything put together, they become so desirable! This Charlotte Tilbury Bejewelled Eyes To Hypnotise eyeshadow palette is no exception!
This Charlotte Tilbury Bejewelled Eyes To Hypnotise eyeshadow palette is not her most recent release, but I have been eying for this palette for a while. I kept telling myself I already have all those colors in my collection and I didn’t want to spend that price tag of money again for something I already have. But I gave in finally…here we are, looking at this Charlotte Tilbury Bejewelled Eyes To Hypnotise eyeshadow palette!
I think a large part of Charlotte Tilbury palettes’ selling point is the luxurious and delicate packaging. I love the box and the silvery metal packaging of this palette! Even the magnetic closure feels different! Money well-spent (lol).

About the Charlotte Tilbury Bejewelled Eyes To Hypnotise eyeshadow palette
This Charlotte Tilbury Bejewelled Eyes To Hypnotise* eyeshadow palette retails for $75 USD. I thought it was a limited edition palette, but I can’t find any information saying that on her website, but on Sephora’s website*, it does say it is limited edition, so I’m not sure now. It is in stock at this moment. I actually just got mine from Sephora* last week.
There are 12 shades in this Charlotte Tilbury Bejewelled Eyes To Hypnotise eyeshadow palette, 3 mattes and all shimmers for the rest. There is a total of 0.33 oz or 9.5 g of product. It is made in Italy.
Similar to her eyeshadow quads, there are Prime, Enhance and Smoke shades in each of these 4 glow trio. When I use her quad, I do follow the sequence of Prime, Enhance, Smoke and Pop somehow. But for this bigger palette, I interestingly just ignore those and use whatever I’m inspired to do.
From Charlotte Tilbury’s website*, this Bejewelled Eyes To Hypnotise eyeshadow palette is described as ‘magical palette features the same LIGHT-AS-AIR matte and MAGICAL metallic formulas found in my globally-loved palettes, as well as TWO BRAND-NEW! soft shimmer and weightless WET-LOOK metallic formulas’.

Ingredients and formulation of the Charlotte Tilbury Bejewelled Eyes To Hypnotise eyeshadow palette
I noticed Charlotte Tilbury has recently been using different ingredients for her eye palettes, including a talc-free formula in the Super Nudes Easy Eyeshadow Palette*. Given her luxury quads all made with talc as the first ingredient.
This Charlotte Tilbury Bejewelled Eyes To Hypnotise eyeshadow palette is somewhat between the two. There are 3 shades have talc as the first or second ingredients, 4 shades have talc as the third ingredient, and the rest seems talc-free.
She also used carmine in many of the shadows in this palette as a pigment.
Okay, for the formulation, most of the shades are very soft and pigmented. When I was swatching, there were crumbs of shadows coming out especially for the shimmers. But it doesn’t have problem when applying the eyeshadows onto the lid.
From Charlotte Tilbury’s description of this palette, she mentioned there are multiple different shimmer formulae: metallic, soft shimmer and weightless wet-look metallic. I honestly don’t think there’s obvious difference between the shimmers in this palette. I did however notice some weirdness in some of the shimmers though.
The middle Enhance shade in the Dream Glow trio strangely changed to a deep color after I swatched it with finger (you can see in the YouTube video below, it was when I found this out). Even though I did make sure to wipe off the previous color on my finger before swatching that.
Another thing about the texture is the Prime shade in the, again, Dream Glow trio. That shade is stiffer than all other mattes and shimmer. Not sure why the textures are so diverse.

Swatches for the Charlotte Tilbury Bejewelled Eyes To Hypnotise eyeshadow palette
In general, the shades in this palette are very creamy, soft, buttery and pigmented! I love how well even the shimmers perform with a synthetic brush. They are very easily blended and work very well together for making eye looks.
Happy Glow is my favorite so far. It may look boring, but is the most comfortable and easy to use for me.
However, there are shades that are very similar at least on my skin tone. The Prime shades in the Love and Dream Glow, as well as the two shimmers in the Seduce Glow, are quite indistinguishable on my eye lid. Charlotte Tilbury could have put some much lighter shimmers or more mattes as transition shades, or both. A light brow bone shade would be fantastic. An opportunity missed.
Lastly, I initially had high hope on the vibrancy of the purple shade in the Dream Glow. That shade is almost the reason I got this palette. However, it is not ‘as purple’ as I expected. It is a bit too muted for my taste. I wanted a shade that you can tell right off that it is a purple when you wear them.
5 eye looks created using the Charlotte Tilbury Bejewelled Eyes To Hypnotise eyeshadow palette
Golden brown/yellow eye looks are my thing, so this first eye look created using the Charlotte Tilbury Bejewelled Eyes To Hypnotise eyeshadow palette is one of my favorite! It is easy to create and wearable for many occasions. Perfect for work and a night out.
A red look is a must for this palette! This is another vampy and sexy red eyeshadow look since the Colourpop wine & only palette (reviewed here)! I think this can be a very romantic Valentine’s Day eyeshadow look!
The red here in this Bejewelled eyeshadow palette is relatively cuter and more girly compared with those in the Colourpop wine & only palette (reviewed here). I like this one more. Although the quality of the wine & only palette is as nice, if not more buttery.
In my opinion, this is a more sultry version of the first golden brown look I created. I like this look equally well. However, it lacks some definition. If there is a deeper brown to deepen the outer corner, it’ll be perfect.
This 4th eye look… what should I say… I wanted to create something purple, but the outcome is not as purple as I intended. As I mentioned before, I’m not the biggest fan of this purple eyeshadow, which is somewhat disappointing to me. I wish it showed up better. Having said that, I think this eye look ends up to be still pretty and elegant, just not exactly what I expected.
Right, this eye look 5 is very similar to eye look 1. I was thinking to create something light and subtle, almost not noticeable for me to wear to work… hmm what do you guys think?
In many of these looks that I created, you can tune the intensity of the resulting look by building up or use a very light-handed plus sheering out the shadows to the level you want. The quality of this palette does allow you to do that.
During the whole time I was considering back and forth whether to buy this palette, I tried searching for eye looks and reviews, but I failed to find one that helped me to make a decision, so I hope this review could help anyone of you who are on the fence!
Final Thoughts
Overall, I really like this Charlotte Tilbury Bejewelled Eyes To Hypnotise eyeshadow palette. The quality is very good. The color scheme is not very unique, but the looks came out are very elegant. I’m happy to add this palette to my collection.
If you like the looks or the color story, I think it is worth to give this palette a try! For me, I’m not sure if I want to go through all the hassle of digging out the ‘dupes’ for these shades to recreate this palette. I’d rather get this and be happy about having this beautiful and luxurious palette. It is also an experience that you buy.
However, I understand this is a very pricey palette and imo a bit overpriced, even though this palette is a much better value compared with her eyeshadow quads. I think if price is a concern, I would recommend holding off for sale later in this year.
