(*affiliate link) Today I’d like to share with you guys my latest Charlotte Tilbury* lipstick purchase! These are the Lunar New Year (LNY) 2021 limited edition lipticks! The two shades that I got are Sweet Blossom* and Rose Wish*.
The box packaging of these lipsticks are special and very pretty. When I first open the lipstick’s box, I was extremely stunned by how beautiful was the lipstick itself!!! Although they are different shades, they have exactly the same tube design/packaging. I was speechless for how pretty they are. I can’t get over it!
It is such a statement piece! The red color of the tube matches the LNY theme. The silver sparkling pattern on the tubes look like crystals, but I have no idea. They look so luxurious and high-ended.

About the Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks Sweet Blossom and Rose Wish
Both the Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks Sweet Blossom and Rose Wish are each retails for $37 USD. Each contains 0.12 oz or 3.5 g of product. Both lipsticks are limited-edition and made in Italy.
The Charlotte Tilbury Sweet Blossom lipstick is in the K.I.S.S.I.N.G formula and is described as a ‘dusty rose’ color. From Charlotte Tilbury’s website, this Sweet Blossom lipstick contains ‘light-diffusing pigments’ that make your lip looks ‘luminous, brilliant and full-bodied’.
The Charlotte Tilbury Rose Wish lipstick is from the matte revolution line. The shade is described as a ‘muted, matte brick red’. It is said to contain ‘3D glow pigments’ that helps to create a ‘wash of intense color’.
Ingredients and formulation of the Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks Sweet Blossom and Rose Wish
Both of these Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks have seed oils and seed extract in their ingredients. As Sweet Blossom is in the Kissing formula, it is much more moisturizing on the lip than the matte formula of Rose Wish.
They also contains mixtures of triglyceride and waxes which add glide and comfort for wearing.
There doesn’t seem to have any parabens added in these lipsticks. However, they do have some vanilla scent to it. It is much more noticeable in Sweet Blossom than in Rose Wish. Unlike the perfumey fragrance like those in the Dior Ultra Care liquid lipsticks (reviewed here), I actually like the yummy scent in these Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks, especially in Sweet Blossom! It smells almost like the chocolate eyeshadow palettes from Too Faced!
I don’t own many Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks, but I do strongly prefer the Kissing formula over her matte formula. The former is so creamy and moisturizing, although it comes off very easily. For the matte revolution formula, it is rather drying for me. My lip feels somewhat tight when wearing it.
Swatches for the Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks Sweet Blossom and Rose Wish
The shade of the Charlotte Tilbury lipstick Sweet Blossom is very close to the one shown in Charlotte Tilbury’s website*, both the swatch and the actual bullet. For Rose Wish, the bullet looks much deeper in person but the swatch is pretty comparable. I think they did a good job in capturing the shades of these LNY lipsticks this time!
For the lip swatches, I like how Sweet Blossom looks on my lip, the wear is very comfortable. I was also enjoying the yummy chocolate scent of this lipstick! It was also easily applied without the need of lip liners.
But for Rose Wish, first thing I noticed when I was putting it on was that, I couldn’t put it on as precise as Sweet Blossom. As you may also notice in the lip swatch below, especially the application on the lower lip. It’s more unforgiving for the matte revolution formula. Thus I recommend using a lip liner for applying this Rose Wish shade.
In person, I thought the shade Rose Wish was way too deep for my liking, and didn’t resemble what was shown online. However, now looking at this lip swatches of my own, I think it looks good and was the brick red shade that I wanted.

Final Thoughts
Overall, I really like these Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks Sweet Blossom and Rose Wish. The Kissing formula of Sweet Blossom is one of my favorite lipstick formula. I think she made some improvement over the earlier Kissing formula. I like the shade, the scent and the wear of Sweet Blossom. The packaging of these lipsticks are bombs! So pretty. I think it is a very collectible item for makeup lovers.
For the shade Rose Wish, I think it is a nice matte finish lipstick in general. However, it doesn’t feel as comfortable and it was a little drying on my lip. It gave me some sort of tingly feeling, not sure if it is supposed to be like that or I’m allergic to some of the ingredients in this formula. The color of this lipstick is pretty, but I believe you’ll be able to find something very similar in a more comfortable formula even for matte finish.
