Looking back at the previous easy Valentine’s Day eye looks that I made so far from Day 1-3, I want something more girly and more subtle, but that same time more sparkly. So I came up with this look, which features the Stila * Glitter and Glow liquid eye shadow in Rose Gold Retro. It is a very beautiful color that has been just sitting in my collection for a while. It is a good chance to take it out and use it again, I don’t even know why I stopped using it.
Easy Valentine’s Day eye look 4
This look does seem like a monotone shadow look, I mainly combine the brown and peachy shades from two eyeshadow palettes. I didn’t even realize how similar are theses two color schemes before putting them side-by-side:
This Valentine’s Day eye look is by far using the least number of palettes or makeup products. It is also the fastest to create out of these 4 looks.

I almost used every shade in these two palettes in creating this easy Valentine’s Day eye look 4. Although the Chanel quad seems no longer available, the shades are rather similar to those in the Dior Nude Dress quint. The biggest difference, I would say, is that the peach shimmer in the Chanel quad is brighter and more vibrant.
In my own eye shadow collection, the Stila Glitter and Glow liquid eye shadow * is the only one that can reliably give me the glittery sparkly look without the mess. I believe there are a number of ‘dupes’ for the Stila Glitter and Glow shadow from the drug store. Sometimes there is also 50% off sale from the Stila * official site.
For the Jordana 12 hr Made to Last Liquid Eyeliner pencil *, I’m glad I tried this brand! It is very creamy and glide on the lid. This is by far the best drug store eyeliner pencil I know. I wish they have more color options in this line. But overall, highly recommended!
How this look was created
- Sweep a layer of the champagne shimmer from the Chanel quad all over the lid
- With a brush, dip into the satin brown shade from the Chanel quad (or any similar brown shade) and the matte brown from the Dior 5 Couleurs Couture 649 Nude Dress *, blend them into the crease. Further deepen the outer corner with one more layer of the matte brown
- Put the taupe shimmer shade from the Dior 5 Couleurs Couture 649 Nude Dress * onto the bare part of the lid
- Take some Stila Glitter and Glow liquid eye shadow Rose Gold Retro * from the wand with a finger and gentle tap the liquid eye shadow onto the middle of the lid. Blend out the edge with a finger. Be careful not to retouch the glitter shadow before it dries down. Can repeat until the desired intensity is built up
- Draw a wing with the Jordana 12 hr Made to Last Liquid Eyeliner pencil 02 Espresso Last *
