Just in-time for the Holiday season, Viseart Petits Fours have recently been released! As far as I know, this is the first time Viseart came out with eyeshadow quads. As their name suggested, there are 4 of them and I picked up the most cool tone palette in this collection, Viseart Petits Fours Lilas.
I was very excited about the color story each of these quads has. My predication is that this Lilas palette is the most popular among all the 4 quads. Let me know in the comment which one is your favorite!

About the Viseart Petits Fours Lilas palette
This Viseart Petits Fours Lilas palette retails for $22 USD. I purchased mine off Beautylish‘s website. As always, Beautylish does a fantastic job in packaging their products for the customers, which I really appreciate!
From Viseart‘s website, they described this palette as ‘each magnetized miniature morsel is encased within brand new shimmering, bite-sized petite packaging. Whether you’re craving the rich depth of Chocolat or the caramel creaminess of Praline, the berry beauty of Framboise or the languorously luscious Lilas, you’re sure to find a heavenly treat to satisfy your desire for sweets’.
I think I may get at least one more of these Viseart Petits Fours quads. When I first saw the promo pictures, the Framboise quad caught my eyes most, but somehow Lilas managed to grow on me!
For the packaging, I’m sure some people will think it is too tiny and doesn’t worth the price, but I like the packaging and the compact size of this little Viseart Lilas palette. It saves a lot of space and very convenient for travel.
Ingredients and formulation of the Viseart Petits Fours Lilas palette
Most of the Viseart eyeshadow palettes have talc as the first ingredient, this is especially true for their matte shades. And the mattes in this Lilas palette is no exception. However the other 2 stunning shimmer shades used calcium sodium borosilicate as the first ingredient and talc is in the middle. I continue to hope brands start making eyeshadows without talc!
There are only a handful of Viseart eyeshadow palettes I’ve ever tried. One reason is because of the ingredients. Although I heard many good things about how their eyeshadows perform, strangely enough, I just didn’t find myself wanting to try them, until I saw these Petits Fours quads!
For the formulae of this Viseart Petits Fours Lilas palette, I was very pleasantly surprised by how blendable and effortless are the shadows, especially the mattes. They are not the creamiest eyeshadows I’ve ever tried, but they perform so well with synthetic or natural eye brushes that I just can’t put them down!
I’ve also heard that the shimmers from Viseart are very mediocre, but I found the 2 shimmer shades in this Lilas palette very pigmented, smooth and go on the lid very easily. They are high shine and very elegant too!
Maybe the shades here are made with a new formula compared with their other palettes, but I’m really impressed with it!
Swatches for the Viseart Petits Fours Lilas palette
In contrast to my expectation, the 2 mattes appear much lighter on my skin tone. But I’m not mad about that, as they perform so well!
As you can from the swatches, the 2 shimmer shades are so breathtaking! They have one-swipe pigmentation. So smooth and metallic! It really makes me want to try the other quads as well.
2 eye looks created using the Viseart Petits Fours Lilas palette
I used all the 4 shades for my first eye look using the Viseart Petits Fours Lilas palette. The resulting look is very pretty. I think this palette is very suitable to make (or as a complementary palette) bridal eye looks. The silvery shimmer metallic shade is so beautiful and elegant. I love this eye look!
As I mentioned before, the 2 mattes are quite much lighter than what I expected from the pans. I did pick up the shades back and forth about 3 times to build up the intensity, but it was still effortless. Indeed the intensity was just right in creating such a ethereal look! So I’m still very happy with them.
In this second look, I tried to make a smokey look with mainly the deeper shimmery mauve shade at the lower right hand corner. I didn’t think it would work out too well as I thought I need a deeper transition shades or that. However, it turned out to be very pretty as well!
I am so blew away by the quality and the outcomes of this little Lilas palette! I do not usually wear or like a smokey look as it is a bit dramatic to me, but I can totally see myself wanting to create these looks again and wear them on a daily basis! I think the lighter matte shades on the lid really help for that matter.
Final Thoughts
I love and will highly recommend this Viseart Petits Fours Lilas eyeshadow palette! First of all I like how chic the packaging and travel-friendly is this palette, it still contains 0.21 oz or 6 g of products, which is a decent amount. Secondly, the quality and the eye looks created were just amazing! It reminds me of the Natasha Denona Glam palette (reviewed here). Even though there are almost 4 times less shade in this palette than in the Glam palette, I honestly like the eye looks created with this Viseart Lilas quad more. It is just more sultry imo. They made an excellent choice of shades for this Lilas palette.
I will rate this Viseart Petits Fours Lilas palette as:
- Texture: 9/10
- Color payoff: 9/10
- Longevity on eye lid: 10/10
- Quality consistency among shades: 10/10
- Color scheme uniqueness: 8/10
- Affordability: 9/10
