(*affiliate link) Hey! Welcome back to the 7 days of easy Valentine’s Day eye look, Day 2! This time I’m gonna create a fuchsia pink and brown eye look for the Valentine’s Day.
Easy Valentine’s Day eye look 2
I picked a couple eye shadow palettes mainly for the different tones of warm or reddish browns. But you can use any shadow palettes that have similar tones for a smooth transition.
These are the makeup items that I used for this look:
- Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam eyeshadow palette *
- XX Revolution RefleXXion Tender eyeshadow palette * (reviewed here)
- Pat McGrath Labs Celestial Divinity Luxe Quad Fleur Fantasia * (reviewed here)
- Colourpop Lil Ray of Sunshine eyeshadow palette * (currently 50% off!)
- Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in dgaf * (reviewed here)
- Colourpop liquid liner why not? * (reviewed here)
- Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara *
Swatches of the shades & liner used
Same as most of the eyeshadow used in the Valentine’s Day eye look 1, many of the shades used here can be easily replaced with similar shades you have in your own collection.
The key shade in making this eye look is the fuchsia pink in the Pat McGrath’s Fleur Fantasia * palette. I love the quality of this shade as well as this palette. It is one of the best Pat McGrath’s quad that I got since 2019.
How this look was created
- Blend the brown shade from the XX Revolution* RefleXXion Tender eyeshadow palette onto the crease as the transition
- Add more warmth with the brick red brown matte from the Colourpop Lil Ray of Sunshine eyeshadow palette *
- Blend the two together with the brown from the ABH Soft Glam eyeshadow palette *
- deepen the outer corner with the black from the same palette
- Pat the Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in dgaf * all over the lid with the finger. Blend the shades with a brush to soften the edges
- Use the finger to put 2-3 layers of the fuchsia shade from the Pat McGrath Labs Celestial Divinity Luxe Quad Fleur Fantasia palette *
- Put the same corresponding shades as the upper lid below the lower lash line
- Draw the wing with the Colourpop * liquid liner why not?
- Finish off with the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara *
